Hip and Pregnant- Maternity Clothing Trends You Should Be Following Now!

Maternity Clothing Trends

There comes a time for pregnant women, where we swap out our clothes for the dreaded maternity frocks. Well, maternity clothing has come a long way and here are some trends you should be wearing. Giving birth has never been so trendy!

Denim: Go above and beyond a jean jacket and rock a denim dress. Many dresses come with pockets, we’re in love! A classic pair of maternity jeans is not only functional but super comfy and they come in all styles and cuts.

Shirtdress: What screams comfort and style better than a shirt dress? It’s soft, comfortable and versatile; you can dress it up for the office by pairing it with a statement necklace, or dress it down for the weekend by wearing it with your favorite fall knee boots with a low chunky heel.

Jumpsuits: They are the hot ticket for women this fall, but if why not hop into one with a baby bump?

Pencil Skirts: Most pregnant women will wear flowing peplum shirts to cover their bumps. A pencil skirt advertises to all, you are expecting and loving every moment of it.

Button Down: An oversized button-down shirt can be found in both the women’s and men’s department. When your belly gets larger, pair with a soft t-shirt and allows the button down open. Super chic!

Asymmetrical hemlines: Love them or hate them, high in front, long in back are flattering for every figure and gives you plenty of room for your ever-growing baby!

Horizontal Stripes: There is nothing I love more than a women expecting in a tight striped shirt. So French, and adds just a hint of trendy glamour to any outfit. The stripes will have your bump standing out in any crowd.

Trainers: Sneakers, yes! With dresses, shorts; just do it. Your feet will love you for it at the end of the day! There are so many fun styles and bright colors, the sky is the limit on how you can exude your personality through a pair of shoes!

Whatever you decide to wear it’s always best to stick to your pre-pregnancy style. No reason to change who you are. You are you, only times two! Once your baby is born, here’s what to do with your maternity clothes.
